• Born and raised in sunny Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
• Mother of 2, Stepmama of 2, Mama of 10 pets
• Married to a funny, kind, crazy, handsome, helpful, Redskins-loving, charismatic, smart Cuban-American
• Raised in Portuguese and German. English came at 10. French came at 13. Spanish came at 19. French is very rusty these days...
• Love to cook and bake, and want to make more time for it. 
• My personal theme in life is "Kindness above all".
• Don't love reading Fiction books. Love reading biographies of interesting and successful women, recipe books and lifestyle books!
• Had my past-life regression done in 2012. Absolutely cool. Life changing.
• Wine and chocolate are separate food groups in my world. Don't want to live without either.
• I use my "Bullet" juicer (NutriBullet) pretty much everyday!
• I know I won't ever go broke, but if I were to go broke, I'd still find ways to buy books. (I need to own them as new books because I highlight everything, fold the corners, mark pages...)
• Cannot stand animal cruelty. Animals are a HUGE part of my everyday life.
• I am a certified Etiquette Consultant.
• When I pursued my Master Program, I decided to get pregnant! Twice! The 2-yr program turned into a 4 and a half-yr program!
• I used to bite my nails when growing up. My nails have finally become stronger only after pregnancy.
• My husband is the BEST Private Investigator you'll ever hire. Without a doubt.
• I enjoy eating lunch at restaurants by myself. It gives me time to read my books! 
• I am the Board President of The Doglando Foundation.
• I started playing the piano when I was only 4. My "career" didn't last too long. I burnt out at 10. I also played the flute and love Classical Music a lot.
• I love looking at pictures of me pregnant! It brings me peace, a big smile to my face and so much love.
• I have a passion for great hotels and great restaurants. I could plan a vacation all around it.
• On an ongoing hunt for Vegan restaurants. Curiosity and kindness kick in at the same time. 
• A "hidden hobby" is my passion for natural cosmetics that WORK. It's not so easy to find them. 
• I am THE ultimate magazine junkie. 
• I can be your best friend, but never your worst enemy.
• I love early mornings.
